About Freeman Makwarimba
Freeman Makwarimba brings the experience and expertise to meet the challenges of today’s dynamic and globally orientated teenager and managing the ever changing, application and outcome based education environment through a proven record of education leadership, education development and implementation, team building and education stakeholder relationship management. He has over eight years of experience in education. He has worked in tertiary education sectors as well as high schools in various capacities. The highlight of his education career was the establishment of the first specialist overall Credit Management skills development institution (Credit Management Training Centre) in 2008. As the Training Operations Manager, he was responsible for among other duties, curriculum development, recruitment and providing leadership to training and facilitation staff. In this position he led the team that worked with various banking institutions in Zimbabwe to establish Credit Management divisions and provided required orientation training and ongoing skills development programmes.
At the time of this appointment Freeman has been the Vice Principal since January 2016 during which period he has proven his abilities to lead the teaching staff as well as manage win-win relationships with our various stakeholders.
Freeman is a passionate academic still in the making. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Business and Accounting: Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK, ACCA); He is a Certified Neuro-linguistics Practitioner (NLP) by the American Union of NLP and is a finalist of BSc Accounting Science with Oxford Brookes University (UK). He has recently registered to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with UNISA at the same time he is completing the ACCA final professional exam to become a global Chartered Certified Accountant.
